Professor Wooten was such an incredible professor that I am now adding a Black Studies major! So personable, knowledgable, amazing professor. Lectures and reading are all FASCINATING. I sent my friends and family lots of articles to read. I wish everyone in the world could take this class. Life-changing material. Quizzes are fair.

Dr. Wooten is an absolutely amazing teacher. He's a super nice guy that completely changed my way of thinking about so many things. There definitely was a lot of reading but he reviewed everything afterwards so you understood it. If you do the reading and the work he says to do, you'll be fine and he was always super helpful.

Dr. Wooten cares about his students' success; he genuinely cares about your performance in his class and is there for you to discuss if you have any family problems. Wonderful instructor, just make sure to keep up with the readings and weekly responses.

Genuinely cares about the class and students, even created a social hour to help with online transition. There are lots of pdf readings(5/week), but is definitely manageable and the main points are reiterated in quizzes(open note) + section. His lectures can get long winded, but are interesting + worth attending. As a person, he is fun to talk to!

I cannot STRESS THIS ENOUGH. I love Dr. Wooten so much. The best teacher I have ever had. Inspiring, caring, intelligent, the whole package. This man deserves the world and more. Take his class for sure.

Terrance Wooten is the prime example of what an Professor should be! He is passionate and really just wants you to succeed, not just in his class or in school, but in life. He pushes you to realize how awesome YOU are and to realize how much YOU can accomplish. It is a nice breath of fresh air to find a professor that legitimately cares.
