Loved this class, super interesting, and Professor Conte was exceptionally resourceful and kind. Willing to help you on essays and quizzes. Final paper, while it did take some work, was fun for me to write.

Shes aight... but do not take MUS 17 with her. For a music class she gave out so much readings and work. Lectures are not that interesting and you have to listen word for word to take notes. Just unnecessary work for a music class tbh

I loved MUS17 because of Eugenia! She's compassionate and always found ways to make the class more enjoyable. You do have to read assigned articles and I recommend not skipping over them because quizzes reflect back on it and lectures. You have a paper to write and a concert report, but if you don't procrastinate and ask for feedback, you'll pass.

Professor Conte is super smart and brings a lot of enthusiasm to her lectures. The class is a bit harder than I thought it would be, so I wouldn't recommend taking it only as an art GE. The class is very critical thinking based, no multiple choice or key terms, a lot more about understanding the content more deeply and writing about it.
