professor damluji is a great professor and is a lot more lenient and understanding than most film professors. she excluded a final, some workload toward the end, and no midterm in order to take stress off her students. it is very lecture heavy and a lot of writing, but overall not too bad. congrats on tenure :)

Super nice professor, she realized we were all dying with the workload by the end so she started excusing certain assignments which was nice. Lot's of assignments though so a bit to keep track of. Class is somewhat interesting but so straight forward it can be confusing.

This is supposed to be advanced analysis and there is nothing advanced about it. We're on week 6 and we're learning about diegetic and non diegetic sound and continuity editing. Like bruh that's legit 101. Biggest waste of time.

Readings don't really matter THAT much if you pay attention in lecture. Obviously a bit tougher than the 2 previous film classes but she's a good professor. Clear on what she needs you to do, just make sure to know your TAs grading criteria.

Professor Damluji is an amazing professor. She's understanding as long as you communicate with her. Not a tough grader at all, you're basically in charge of your grade so make sure you attend salons if you want to pass this class. Follow the grading rubric!

LOVE HER SO MUCH! She is so incredibly kind, passionate, eloquent, informed, etc. My favorite FAMST professor so far. The class itself is also super fun. Lots of writing but easy to manage, as most of it is in class. Attendance required. The films we watched were all really great too. Also no tests, just papers. Highly recommend!
