Very nice and caring professor but her lectures can be pretty dull. The class was pretty easy tho. If you do her study guide for the midterm and final it is pretty straight forward. There were two papers but they were pretty easy to write. Personally didn't love the class but it was a pretty minimal effort GE
Dr. Faust was extremely understanding and accommodating to her students. She really has a passion for art and wanted you to be able to see art in a different light. She's a very kind professor and wants you to succeed. Attend lectures because you get a butt load of information important to the quizzes and tests that you can't get anywhere else!
Although she posted the slides, all important information was given in lecture. Lectures were sometimes scattered but got more organized as the quarter progressed. Fair grading/expectations. As long as you try, you should be fine. Really cares about her students which is nice. Would definitely take again!
Though not the most exciting class Ive ever taken, Marta was a very caring and intelligent professor. She graded fairly easily and definitely rewarded students who showed effort and respect. Its really important to go to lecture, so just drink some coffee beforehand and youll be fine. You can usually get away with not doing the readings.
An excellent class that included a wide variety of Netherlandish art objects of many different mediums. The amount I learned in this class was extensive. The instructor is kind and caring, doesnt expect atudents to memorize names and dates, and really knows a lot about art, collecting, and the history of the cultures we looked at. 10/10!
