Sterphone was hella nice, I took his class during Summer 2020 and it was by far the best class I've ever take in UCSB. Good lecture, easy homework, he's really nice with grades, curves are crazy. I don't know what else to say about this professor but if you ever have a chance to take his class, don't miss the chance. Literally easy A.

LOVED J! An absolute gem of a prof. Took them for Soc 1 over Summer and it was honestly great for an async, fully-remote class. If you took the time to go to office hours, they were so down to chat about research/current events/life and the remote lectures were engaging and relevant. Be prepared for some hardcore reading, but no textbook needed.

Joseph is the man! Took his 108C class over summer, and the information wasn't extremely exciting, but he made the class bearable. Lots of group discussions. Class was comprised of 3 papers, which were all graded very fairly. I highly recommend taking any class with him. Probably one of my favorite teachers I've had here because he's a chiller.
