Professor O'Connell wasnt very enthusiastic or happy to be there. If you take notes on just the lecture slides you'll have all the information you'll need for the midterm and final which she gives you a study guide for. Also 2, 3-4 page papers and a concert you don't really need to attend (I didnt go and got an A on it). iclicker isn't used

the material is pretty easy but lecture is so boring that it makes it hard to try

She doesn't post the lectures online so make sure to go or get the notes. It was an easy A but I didn't like her as a professor; she's pretty sassy and expects everyone to care about the material as much as she does. Interesting material if you put the time in. Section was more helpful and the TAs were good at giving feedback.

I took this class when Bridget was a TA and had her as a ta. Absolutely amazing and wish I could take this class again with her as the professor to see what else she has to say about the composers covered in the material.

I took MUS 15 for my art and writing requirements and I ended up really enjoying it. Bridget is a great professor, her lectures are interesting and she's good at explaining and connecting ideas which is necessary when writing the 2 papers throughout the quarter. She's also pretty funny which is a plus.
