It's a hard class, no doubt about it. Be ready to put in a decent chunk of work - you have to write a 30 minute play for this class in about 4 weeks time. That being said, I LOVED Frances, she gave great feedback and set up the classroom in a way that was really conducive to good workshopping and writing. Would definitely take again.

Taking a class from Frances is very rewarding simply because of the fact that she is a genuinely talented and accomplished playwright herself. Not like other theater classes where simple participation warrants an A, you actually have to put in effort. You'll have to do a LOT of writing and group projects.
