The material was pretty straight-forward and workload was reasonable. Avi was pretty quiet so others probably found the class boring, but I thought she was approachable & sweet. She was very accessible outside of class and helpful if you came for help. I was going through a rough time and I am extremely grateful for her kindness and flexibility.

it's obvious Avi cares a lot of what she's teaching but her slides in her lectures are so textbook definition and so wordy that it's very difficult to take away real meaning from what you're learning. Her tests were very difficult and some of the questions did not follow the study guide or seemed like there could be multiple answers/trick questions

Avi is the sweetest. she really cares about her students and teaches very well. Her tests were straightfoward from lecture but it really helps to read the book because it provides more examples to help u understand better. she doesnt try to trick u on the tests which is a huge plus. just read and study the notes and youll do well.
