I had Anita as a TA for FEMST 40 and 80 and I totally loved it! She has a great sense of humor and is incredibly kind and accommodating in the case of any difficulties. She cared enough to check up on me personally when I hadn't opened the course page in a while due to being overwhelmed with other courses. Truly a gem of a human being!

I LOVE ANITA! I have had her now for two classes and she is by far my favorite person on campus. She's real, and understands that we have lives outside of class. The homework is little to none, and the reading is actually interesting. She brings her dog to class and it always feels like a happy and welcoming environment to be in.

Wish Anita didn't make attendance such a big factor in the grade. Missed 3 classes and my final grade went from an A+ to a B+. But otherwise, very easy class. Good lecture style and interesting readings. The concepts are easy to grasp and the weekly quizzes and reading assignments are easy.

Not hard to get the grade you want if you put in the work. Lecture attendance has huge effects on your grade. Anita had little time to prepare for this class due to a professor change but did an excellent job. She articulated class concepts in ways that were very accessible and made class very interesting. We stan Quimby too.

I took Anita for FEMST 182 as well last quarter and taking her now for FEMST 80 and she changes her teaching style vastly to meet the needs of a more intimate and small setting of 182 and huge lecture hall setting of 80 and does both phenomenally. She is funny and relates theories and concepts to relevant current events. (Also has a cute doggo!!)

Anita is a real gem! She is super accessible in her office hours and always willing to talk and help you out with whatever you need. She is also very accommodating and supportive (I had a rough quarter and she was super understanding while still making sure I wasnt missing out on any of the learning).

Anita is an awesome human being and Im in love with her dog Quimby. I would highly recommend her if you want to learn, the lectures are very interesting and she makes the class very enjoyable.

Don't take a class from Anita unless you want to be constantly distracted by completely falling in love with her. Only partially joking. She says Quimby (her absurdly adorable dog) can get away with anything but we all know who the real stunner is.

Anita is one of my favorite humans. 10/10 would recommend. She's funny and sometimes brings her dog to class. She makes things interesting and relatable. Makes sure you know what you need to know. Isn't there to make your life harder or give you extra work. Helps in any way she can and makes expectations clear.
