I had Julie Maravilla as my ECE10C professor. It was a very difficult class, on the test, she made us use MATLAB to plot a bode plot, but we weren't given computers. When we asked for help in lab, she just said "it's jank dad", and told us we should've read chapter 13 from the book.
I had dad as my professor for ECE 152A. He expects you to know Very High Speed Hardware Description Language (VHDL) from the start of his class and for you to read chapter 14 in week one. His midterm had VHDL questions even though the lab was done in Verilog. He tested us on things he didn't teach like the J-M flip-flop and Toyon Counter.
He is extremely good looking!!! If you don't believe me take this class and you'll find out. Other than his good looks, he is ight. if you stare into his eyes you might get lost in them and forever feel a disturbance in time and space. All you had to do was give him compliments in order to pass. You might catch some spit if you sit in the front.
Hands down, THE GREATEST professor at UCSB. I would highly recommend taking this course with him. He is amazing at explaining difficult concepts and he makes sure that everyone in the class understands the material. He goes above and beyond to make sure every student in the class gets a good grade. He also uses the word "dad" a lot, so beware ;)
I asked him for help, and all he said was "Its easy, just use common sense dad". Later when I asked him about a test question he put on the test, he just said "Oh that one was jank dad, you have to do #42 in the book." I also got an F on the test and asked him how I could improve, and he said to just "do all of chapter 9's book problems.".
