SHE IS SO NICE. Did not like the labs tho they're confusing and graded hard. It's funny because there really isn't THAT much info on Antarctica so we spent like two classes talking about plate tectonics and at the end she was like "but Antarctica doesn't really get many earthquakes:)" so ya we ran out of stuff to talk about! take class w GEOG3A;)
My bad guys, I gave her a 4 on accident, but she deserves a 5! Honestly she is cool, I wish I went to office hours to get to know her more. She also offers extra credit, which is just making memes about the class or taking pictures with rocks, stuff like that. You have to put in some effort, but she has a lot of opportunities to raise your grade.
Love Price,shes so sweet! I struggle w/ science, but she made the class clear & easy (she has memes in her ppts)! Shes understanding & theres no textbook. The 2 TAs are cool, & if u ask them questions during section they help u understand/tell u the answer. The test is multiple choice w/ some free response; its not too hard as long as u study a bit
Ellie is a great instructor! I have Earth 2 and Earth 114 with her. The slides were a lot but very organized and clear, and she posts them on GauchoSpace so don't worry if you miss a lecture, and she is always there for you during office hour. Love her
Price is a really sweet professor! She is always open to answering questions and offers extra credit. Slides and lecturing however, could use some work! She seems to still be new because the way she lectures is as if she's reading a presentation, not bad; it would just be great if she were more confident in the subject she was teaching :)
Ellie is super sweet! Super approachable and passionate about her class. Earth 10 is super easy and an easy GE for non STEM majors.
Professor Price is a great lecturer! Her class is very simple and straight forward. She offers extra credit. Price is such a sweet professor, always in a great mood! Her slides are helpful and they are always posted onto Gauchospace. There's weekly quizzes online (not timed) and you can all material tested on is covered in her lecture slides.
