This class is very boring if you already know about the ocean and the environment. You could retake the final and midterm online with your notes/powerpoints and have it count for 20%, and bring a piece of paper to use on the tests. There was extra credit almost weekly. Very boring but easy class.

Thick accent, hard to understand. Jokes are 4/10. Iclicker for participation, and you can only miss class 2 times before it starts affecting your grade. There is just so much information if you don't have the entire textbook down on your cheat sheet good luck. There are also weekly quizzes that are relatively hard if you don't show up to class.

Compared to all of the other earth classes you could take, this one is relatively easy. I took it pass or no pass just because I was focusing on other classes but as long as you do all of the assignments (there are a lot) and online quizzes and labs, you could get an A. Her accent is really hard to understand and there's an clicker for attendance.

Doable A if you attend her lectures, participate with iClickers, and know all info in her powerpoints! Very lecture heavy, but she lets you use a cheat sheet for midterm and final. Very nice and cares about the success of her students. Clear on grading criteria and weekly online quizzes that aren't bad if you are going to class! Loved this class!

She has a very thick accent which makes her very hard to understand and makes lecture very boring because theres no point of trying to take notes. Still easy material and you are able to use a cheat sheet on tests, but iclicker is important and lecture is a grind and a half
