Worst class I have ever taken in my life. I went to every lecture and did most of the reading and I still think I failed (I have never even gotten a C in a class before). Professor refuses to do practice problems in class. I am unsure if she even knows the material herself. Reads off the slides from the textbook for entire lecture.

She is simply the opposite of a good teacher in every aspect. She does not have clue what to do in the lecture, for assignments, and exam. You spend so much time on this course, and learn nothing and end up with a bad grade

The class material didn't seem that difficult at first, but the sheer amount of material covered makes the course very difficult and exams were extremely difficult even when compared to other Statistics and Math courses at the school.

I want to preface that Professor Shiau definitely knows her stuff, but its far beyond the scope of this class compared to other professors(and their exams). You cover double other profs, pretty much the entire 700+ page textbook and then some. Visiting prof so might not be used to quarter system. I don't mind the difficulty, just not enough time.
