If you want to challenge yourself, struggling with unlimited tough exams and leave with a bad grad, this is the course for you. Jiyoun is the most disrespectful person. good luck.

The professor lacks teaching clear. She rushed and skipped portions yet made the exams extremely difficult. Beware of this prof. Office hours were sometimes helpful, depending on mood. She did make class curved. Make sure to do well on midterm

Professor needed to be more respectful. Lots of concepts are challenging and she writes the notation without describing it. You would expect her to be more patient. She grades harder than she teaches. Project was hard but a chance outside of timed tests. Some may still do well.

I took her 120B in W20 and 126 in S20 during covid, both A. To be fair, she's actually very nice and helpful, especially during her office hour. Pls go to her OH! Her lectures were actually really clear and good interactions keep me interested. Her lectures were fast but exciting. Retrospectively, she is one of the best profs I've had in college.

Very very terrible , impossible to understand , not because of her accent but because she is super mean and her lectures are unhelpful, tests are hard

Her lectures are good. The only problem is she doesn't give practice on quiz. And no clear rubric for final project, which she graded really harsh.

Honestly, I passed the class but I don't know what I learned. She went so fast and even following along with the textbook was difficult. I don't know if it's just the stats dept or the professors, but PLEASE do better for your students. We are investing time to meaningfully learn, not be confused by profs who don't thoroughly explain the why.

Best professor I've had this quarter. Lectures are easy to follow. Homework, exams, and grading are very fair. 120B is supposed to be a difficult class but I actually found it to be easier than 120A. Just do what she tells you to do and you'll get a very good grade.

Myung was the best PSTAT professor I've had. Don't be scared off by her negative reviews, her accent is not a problem, and her lectures are very clear and easy to follow. Tests were difficult but fair and questions were similar to homework and practice questions. Highly recommend.

I created this account just to rate Dr. Myung. Her class caused me so much anxiety and numerous breakdowns. Tests are extremely unfair ( the average midterm grade was around 40%). Her accent makes her hard to understand, her handwriting is horrible, she moves fast and she doesn't post notes. She is the worst professor I've ever had. AVOID!!

Myung gets a bad rep, but she's one of the best professors I've had so far. The class is hard because of the material. Her handwriting is messy, but she does a super helpful recap in the beginning of class. She seems intimidating, but is actually really friendly! Beware, the exams are HARD.
