Just horrible. This course had a lot of potential to be really cool, but Professor Perez assigns an insane amount of reading and essays for this class and yet the only credit you get is units, nothing for GE. She is confusing and has no clear directions or due dates for anything! She will check Gauchospace to make sure you're clicking on things too

Her lectures were unclear and hard to follow.

Dr. Perez is the best professor I've had so far. She made the class super interesting and the final and midterm were both take home. Everything is found in the readings and she is willing to go over your answers in office hours. She also offered lots of extra credit opportunities that were fun.

Not interested in RGST, but she made the class interesting. Good professor, lots of reading but I did not do it and easily passed the class because the lectures were very informative. 1 midterm and final, both were take home. They take a lot of time but if you just give solid, correct answers found in the reading you will get a good grade.

Dr. Perez is very nice, and all the tests are take home. She also offers fun extra credit opportunities. However, her lectures are unorganized, and she constantly uses foreign words without telling anyone what they mean. Class is absurdly easy, I did 3 out of the 35 or so readings, and got 99% on the midterm and final. Didn't study at all. EASY. rg

Dr. Perez is a great professor. She cares more about learning and absorbing the material rather than about focusing on just getting the grade. Do the readings, take notes, and especially go to office hours (very helpful).

Professor Perez is nice enough, but her lectures are unclear and unorganized. The exams are take home which is nice, however, they are only based on the reading and require that you reread almost all of the course material (thats about 600 full sized pages). Overall, easy enough to do well just sort of tedious.

Midterm and final were take home on gauchospace. All based on the readings so you have to thoroughly read through them. Has a poem assignment and small journal assignment that are each 10% and graded easy as long as you try. Allowed to miss 3 unexcused classes, takes attendance occasionally by passing a paper around. Super nice, easy class!

She is the best! Kind lady who makes the class more about enjoying the learning experience rather than assigning unnecessary work. A lot of reading but its interesting material and her lectures are hella interesting although sometimes challenging to keep up with. Take home midterm/final, one poem, no other essays/tests. Readings are on gauchospace

i enjoyed the class overall but the lectures were a bit hard to follow as she tends to use foreign words to explain already foreign ideas, which was a bit annoying. theres a lot of reading in this class, but going to lecture and section helps digest the material. both the midterm and the final were take-home which was a lot less stressful.
