Professor Arranz is great. He is very passionate about what he teaches, he also talks about the Basque Country which sounds amazing. Please participate in the discussions in class or it will get awkward. He is very easy going and respectful. He wants the best for his students. Put in the work, participate and you will get a good grade.

Covered a lot of different genres in Spanish cinema. He cares about students and wants them to be interested in the lectures. Only critique I have is that he doesnt give much feedback on essays and doesn't give clear prompts for the essays (which can be good because you have freedom to choose). Only a few papers and group discussion on one movie.

3 short papers (2 pages) and 1 final paper (6 pages). Tries to relate Basque culture to our own culture, really makes it clear that he wants to have a reciprocative discussion where we are not just taking in information. Understands flaws in the education system, really sweet and kind.

Iker is great! He cares about students and tries his best to make lecture interesting. No midterm or final just 3 papers.
