I usually bad at science but this class was pretty easy. The concepts are easy to grasp and for the midterm and final you can bring a page of handwritten notes. iClicker questions in every class but they are just for attendance and graded on right/wrong.

Easy A, Easy GE, Straight-forward class

A knowledgeable professor who cares about students' concerns. Adopts a "flipped classroom" approach - you watch lectures online and complete worksheets with your fellow classmates in class (supplemented by explanations). Lectures can be slightly dry if you are not interested. Has reasonable expectations and is a fairly nice grader overall.

Lisiecki was a very accommodating professor for remote learning and made her class very accessible. Lectures were also very interesting and you can tell she really cares about what she is teaching.

Weekly quizzes (3 attempts and easy if you watch the lectures), weekly labs (2-3 attempts and can ask ta's for help), weekly podcast/article reviews (100 words long), and lecture notes (at least 10 words per lecture). Overall, definitely an easy A as long as you turn in everything on time. The class was interesting & accommodating! Highly recommend

Pretty heavy workload, but only your final exam and final paper were counted for a letter grade, so if everything else was done sufficiently you'd get 100% in those categories. Her lectures are a little dry and participation in zoom lectures seemed pointless, but overall fairly interesting material.

She is an incredibly boring professor and actually made me hate the material in the class. I have no idea what is going on and I feel I'm sailing through the class because she makes kids go to class with a participation handout and then listen to her boring lectures.

The study guides for the midterm and final are nearly identical to the tests. they're online and have unlimited tries, so you can study them until you mastered the answers to the questions. clicker class but you get three free skips. Labs are easy, and there's way too many extra credit opportunities so you can easily take advantage of it

I found her lectures boring, but she does provide so many resources like dropping lowest quiz, clicker, and lab scores. Even lets you retake all exams and choose which one of those scores you would like use to replace a low score. Labs were hard for me but I always got a good grade. My TA was useless and seemed to have a hard time talking to us.

Pretty easy class! I had a steady 102% for most of the class because she gives extra credit and lets you bring a cheat sheet to every exam, even the final. You can even retake the exams at home and choose 1 to replace at the end of the quarter. Her voice makes you want to sleep but she's good at explaining things. Highly recommend this class!

idk if its just me but i heavily underestimated this class, but i like that she posts everything online, provides SECOND CHANCES for midterms/finals, allows cheat sheet, HOWEVER your grade relies on a LOT of things: iClicker (ATTEND CLASS forsure), and labs are actually somewhat difficult but very doable. overall, would take again

Midterms and final are very fair and relatively easy if you do the practice tests over and over (most questions are repeated). LAB AND QUIZZES CAN HEAVILY IMPACT YOUR GRADE. If you boof on those over and over its hard to come back. Do extra credit because it'll help you a good amount. Pretty easy class though.
