Very accommodating to students. You can tell he really cares about student well-being as well as the lecture content. All around a very kind guy.
He was fine. Nothing notable. He has a great beard. Class was easy cuz the tests were verbatim our weekly problem sets and they sent out rubrics of what the correct answers were, so just basic memorization. Section was mandatory but lecture was not.
This is a great summer class to take. You do not have to go to class but you should because its interesting stuff. You need to go to section because thats when you do question sets which are 40% of your grade and super easy!!
Dr. Evelyn is very passionate about vertebrate zoology and cares about his students. Quizzes are once a week and he makes sure to ask questions on topics that are clearly discussed in lecture. There's two main assignments that really help prep you for graduate writing/research.
A interesting and introductory upper course in eemb dept. If you do the weekly questions, you will do well on final. plus Prof. Evelyn is a nice gay for sure, and very knowledgeable.
