He gives a lot of information to prepare you for the CPA. Your grade consists of a midterm and a final. I feel like I learned a lot over the quarter and I put the least amount of work into it compared to my other classes. He is personable and quirky, very willing to help and knowledgeable. I didn't get the book.

Chad cares his students' wellbeing. His Office Hour definitely helps if u have any questions. You will be told what's gonna be on the test, and what is not! Tax is more about memorizing codes and facts, your time spent on the lecture slides is definitely positive correlate to your grade. I got an A on midterm and another A on final. Easy A class!

Caughell was a new professor this quarter but was definitely one of the better ones I've had all year. The course and material aren't entirely too difficult, and you could easily get a good grade by just putting in the time. He posts everything on Gauchospace and does a good job getting back to students outside of lecture. Textbook NOT required.
