Dr Fryer is a great professor! Before taking their class, I had gotten a C on MATH3A. Dr Fryer made the concepts easier to understand and was always available at office hours. Their tests are very fair and covers only the things that you learn in class so you won't be surprised. You also should practice as much as you can & the book problems help.

Professor used weird typed out lecture notes so those were good for theory of the work, but they did a lot of examples on the board for applications. They are very nice and want you to understand so ask questions. Textbook was recommended for extra practice but I didn't use it and I passed. Definitely recommend this professor to everyone

If you study for the exams with the homework assignments then you should do good. Thats that the exams basically are. Section and lecture are not mandatory. There was quizzes in section but they were not for a grade, only to help you understand more. You do not need to buy the textbook. No practice exams provided. Grading kind of hard.

Dr. Fryer is an amazing professor and highly recommend them to any student for Math3B. The class is very easy if you already took AP Calculus and Dr. Fryer is very friendly and welcoming to all, especially the LGBT community!

Dr. Fryer is a very kind individual. They truly want their students to succeed and genuinely understand the material. They take questions during lecture and make sure to answer them thoroughly. Grading is very fair, homework is helpful and moderate in length. Tests are similar to homework and in-class notes. Overall, a great class and professor.

Excellent teacher. Friendly, exceptionally clear, and not a tough grader. Makes even the most difficult of concepts accessible. Awesome completion based homework system designed for learning concepts. Prof Fryer really wants you to succeed. Best Math teacher I've encountered.

Lectures are straightforward and not overly rushed. Fryer will do their best to answer questions in class but you need to do a lot of practice on your own to do well. Expectations for grading are clear.

Professor Fryer was very good at explaining math topics--she made integral calculus not a big deal. You have to go to lectures because she does iClicker questions, but the lectures are helpful anyway. Be prepared to study a medium amount for the class, but overall, Fryer is probably one of the best picks for your 3B professor.

Professor Fryer is an amazing math professor. Extremely understanding and assistive for those who struggled with the course. Lectures were extremely useful and are posted online, but iClicker makes attendance mandatory. Suggested book problems for the final and midterms are posted on gaucho space and are very useful in studying.

All integral calculus. Fryer explains the concepts very well, and always provides examples. Definitely a solid choice!

I would definitely recommend for MATH3B, the order they present the material in is different than the other professors and makes more sense. Everything is presented through theorems and equations then used through examples. Tests and homework are very straightforward.
