Great professor. He does a good job at making dry material interesting. I like how he uses his own musical skills & doing demonstrations. Material is pretty straightforward so if you attend lecture & read you will be fine!

Henry's lectures were awesome. He is a great speaker who manages to make seemingly boring material quite interesting. Highly recommend.

Definitely take this when you have a heavy workload so you can have a chill class. There were 2 papers and a final, along with several weekly assignments and a concert to attend. No textbook required so you pretty much just pay the price of the concert ($20). Choose your TA wisely though as they may have different essay expectations.

I wish I hadn't taken this class my first quarter, since it is probably the most enjoyable and easiest GE you will find. Save this gem of a class for when you need a break. Henry is a really good lecturer, he tells you what's what, and from there you can basically do all you assignments and essays based off what he says in lecture.

MUS15 is an easy course. There are a few homework assignments, two papers, and a final. Just keep up with the reading and you should be just fine. Attendance isn't required for lecture, and there isn't a textbook requirement since most of the reading is posted online.

One of the few professors I would say is truly savvy with technology and teaching methods. He makes lectures simple and interesting, and makes assignment few and fair. Music 15 was really fun and the concert was really cool, but be prepared to pay for it ($15 or so).

I took this class because I heard it would be fun and an easy A. Although it probably is to many students , I find the course really mundane. Yes, the essay assignments are clear and easy but I found it difficult to write about a subject I did not care about. If you're not into classical music or learning about it, this class might be boring.

I took this class strictly to fulfill a GE requirement and went into the class thinking it would be very uninteresting and boring. Surprisingly tho, Professor Michaels made the lectures enjoyable at times and actually made me not hate going to lectures. Lectures are pretty straight forward. Overall a very good professor.

Henry's enthusiasm for teaching is awesome. He makes the course very straight forward. No textbook. Show up to lecture and listen what he has to say. TAs are all awesome. Henry gives out guiding questions for the midterm and final, which help you ace them. Two papers, also were not difficult. Enjoyable class

Nice professor, easy A. No textbook, which is really nice. Some of the online readings (pdfs) can get a little lengthy, but you could honestly get by without reading a lot of the pieces if you just attend lecture. TAs grade very generously and he gives you a study guide with questions parallel to the real exam.

Really easy prof if you do all the work and readings. The objectives are very clear, so it is not difficult to pass. No textbook is required, which is nice. The class is an easy A, and most TAs are super easy graders.
