Great professor. He does a good job at making dry material interesting. I like how he uses his own musical skills & doing demonstrations. Material is pretty straightforward so if you attend lecture & read you will be fine!

Henry's lectures were awesome. He is a great speaker who manages to make seemingly boring material quite interesting. Highly recommend.

Definitely take this when you have a heavy workload so you can have a chill class. There were 2 papers and a final, along with several weekly assignments and a concert to attend. No textbook required so you pretty much just pay the price of the concert ($20). Choose your TA wisely though as they may have different essay expectations.

I wish I hadn't taken this class my first quarter, since it is probably the most enjoyable and easiest GE you will find. Save this gem of a class for when you need a break. Henry is a really good lecturer, he tells you what's what, and from there you can basically do all you assignments and essays based off what he says in lecture.

MUS15 is an easy course. There are a few homework assignments, two papers, and a final. Just keep up with the reading and you should be just fine. Attendance isn't required for lecture, and there isn't a textbook requirement since most of the reading is posted online.

One of the few professors I would say is truly savvy with technology and teaching methods. He makes lectures simple and interesting, and makes assignment few and fair. Music 15 was really fun and the concert was really cool, but be prepared to pay for it ($15 or so).
