Harris is a really good professor. Doesn't have mandatory attendance and posts all slides online! Tests were fairly easy as well. Weekly homework assignments, which were graded decently.
I don't like Geography, but she made it bearable. She is passionate about it and gives extra credit opportunities. Attending lecture is not necessary if you read and look at the power points she uploads
Geography 5 is super easy. Lectures are based on the readings and are posted online so there is no incentive to go to class or buy the textbook. Harris is approachable and caring, she is definitely worth introducing yourself to. Assignments in section are easy, but time-consuming.
I never used the textbook and received a B on my midterm. She posts the slides online so the lectures seem redundant to go to, but she gives a lot of examples which are helpful. She's very nice and easy to understand. You can tell she knows what she's talking about.
This is not a difficult class. The lectures are not helpful. She is just reading her notes on the slides and we can access those slides on Gauchospace. The tests are all multiple choices and pretty easy. I don't think attending the lectures are necessary. You can get a pretty good score with some effort reading the textbook recommended.
She's likeable and very thorough in her lectures. She really knows what she's talking about.
