Dr. Scherich is an amazing professor and its her first semester at Elon. Calculus is a difficult subject but she challenges you to understand the reason behind the math. I enjoyed this course because of the organized Moodle page, and clear expectations. Dr.Scherich was always available through email and office hours. Would 10/10 take again!

The course is loaded with material. In genral dr. Scherich is very responsive and would take the time to actually explain if you're having difficulty but the lectures are hella useless and pointless. A literal waste of time. Quizzes are not relative to what's been taught in lectures. Bruh they have the chance to make this course better.

Her class was engaging and she made the content very applicable to my career in teaching. Her class made me change the way I thought about teaching math and thinking about number sense. Was also nice to have her excited about empowering women in math.

Nancy is a professor committed to furthering her student's, and her own understanding of mathematics. She is approachable, engaging, and compassionate.

Nancy is excellent at explaining math concepts. She is deeply knowledgeable and genuinely invested in student understanding. Her passion for math is evident and she is enthusiastic in sharing her passion with both the class and the individual.
