Prof. Kistler was overall really good. I enjoyed her feedback on all the assignments so I could better my assignments for the following week. She has clear grading criteria but assignments where time-consuming and annoying.
Not much to say about this professor since the class was online, but she seems very caring from her class announcements and emails. Class was enjoyable and straight forward. Fair grader. Would love to take another course by her.
Honestly don't have too much to say. Two discussions and two quizzes weekly. Pretty straightforward. Do the work and you'll get an A.
Her class was fairly easy. She is very clear on what is expected of the assignments. However, the only thing that I disliked about the course was the requirement to get the textbook, which was around $100.
Wow. Just wow. This class opened my eyes and heart to the world, different cultures, and how I want to live my life. She is amazing, positive, and a great professor. You will never regret taking Intercultural Communication with her. I learned more from her than from all the TEDtalks I ever watched.
Very great professor! Always there and wants to help you succeed, super nice too. Small Group Communication is a good class if you need some extra units, I ended up having a good group but I know it can really depend. Class was pretty simple and mostly relegated to group meetings. As long as you stay on top of Canvas, you'll be fine.
Tina is so nice! The way she lectures is so good, it just feels like she is telling a story. The class is super interactive and she makes sure to know everyone personally. The weekly homework seems a lot at first but is actually okay since there are no testings. The papers are fun to write too! 10/10
Tina Kistler is such an incredible professor! She really wants you to succeed and does as much as possible for this to happen (very available for help via phone call and email)! A very kind and respectful professor! I recommend this course!
Easy class. Just show up and do the easy homework and you'll get an A without a sweat.
Tina is incredibly sweet and understanding. This class will open your eyes to so many issues and make you a better person. There are two assignments a week but they are so simple. She also doesn't give tests or quizzes because she feels they are too stressful for students. All I can say is she is an amazing teacher!
