Attendance is useful. There are quizzes. Simple textbook. Had to write blogs about grammar readings & comment on other people's blog. One paper. One presentation. Josh was easy to talk to and clear about his lectures. Highly recommend.
You either love Josh or hate him - I thought he was fantastic. Young guy who applies what could be a really boring concept to modern, interesting topics. Can be a little sassy if you're not ready to participate and learn. Very receptive to feedback about his teaching & gives students very useful feedback about their work. Aced the group project tho
Josh was honestly terrible. He wasn't very helpful, and he just seemed fake. Assignments were dry, and he left no room for creativity.
I really liked josh! He makes an otherwise boring subject (rhetoric) really fun and easy to understand. He's creative in the way he runs his class. The writing assignments were pretty dry, but he gives really detailed feedback to help you improve as a writer. He will also read/edit your draft before you turn it in! No tests. Group project sucked.
Gives really obnoxious feedback. Didn't make the instructions for the final group assignment clear and flat out told us we were the worst group. His feedback makes it sound like you failed, even when you got a B or a C. Do yourself a favor and don't take his classes.
