Funny and charming. Lectures are boring but honestly the textbook does a great job at explaining the materials if you do not pay much attention in class.
attendance is not mandatory but his lectures werent recorded so if you dont know the material then you have to go. midterm 1 was the hardest exam, 2 was really easy, and the final was hard but in between. the average grade in the class was (i think) a 74, and he ended up curving the class like 10%, but idk he didnt say the cutoffs.
He was a kind professor but his lectures were not helpful because he would rarely do examples and most of the examples he did were the theories or plain algebraic. I went to his office hours in the beginning but he just talks off topic so it wasnt helpful. Im glad the hw wasnt heavy but they also werent helpful for the tests.
He straight up does not know how to teach. His lectures are incredibly confusing, he rarely stays on topic and the material that he does discuss is almost never relevant to the homework. It's hard trying to keep up with what he's talking about in class and most of the time he explains simple concepts in the most confusing ways. Don't take this guy.
Best math TA I've ever had. Speaks very intelligently and eloquently about his topics and expounds further to include higher levels of math into the discussion. Really chill and accommodating. Great guy to talk to.
Really easy to stay focused, does make frequent mistakes on the board but if you're keeping up with the text book, it's not too difficult to catch. Very willing to help with homework and sends and email if there will be a quiz in section!
Very good and funny teacher
Lectures are difficult to follow, he makes a lot of mistakes while doing examples. I asked him about a difficult homework problem and he took about half the class period only to get the wrong answer. If you have not taken calculus before, you better hope you get blessed with a good TA like I did. Peter is enthusiastic but isn't a natural teacher
