Dr. Goalwin is the most fun professor I've taken so far. My roommate and I have taken three courses of his altogether and we've loved all of them. He requires a lot of reading, but it's always relevant and interesting, and you'll have good discussions in class to make sure you understand everything. 100% would take again.

I was so afraid to take Stats again after community college but Dr. Goalwin made it so interesting and easy. He is so helpful with everything and is willing to go above and beyond to help when you don't understand something. I wish he would stay at CSUCI! Towards the end of the semester he will offer extra credit and is very open to suggestions!

Best Professor I've ever had.

Taking social stratification with Goalwin was awesome! This class didn't have a lot of homework a few papers but was manageable throughout the semester. The exams are essay format but he gives you a study guide and will review terms in class. Hes always available with office hours if you need help with the material! I would take him again!

I was nervous having to take stats again, but professor Goalwin helped break down the material to where it made sense to me. To help you study I highly recommend reading the textbook throughout the course especially before the tests. He walks you through the labs and is always there if you have nay questions and need extra help!

Must attend class to understand the material. Tests are tough, so reading the book and attending lectures are important to pass his class.

Very good at explaining his power points. Blue book midterm and final, as well as an essay.
