Caitlin is one of the best instructors at UCSB! She keeps her lectures clear and interesting. She's willing to help you with any questions you have from class. The class consists of many assigned readings & discussions about the readings in the beginning of every class, 3 writing assignments, and the Midterm & Final are Bluebook based. Great class!

Caitlin is a very good instructor. She is flexible within reason and works to make the class material engaging. She learns everyone's name and attempts to make the class tailored to personal interests. She is super supportive and expects you to do the reading! Highly recommend.

She is really sweet and energetic. Attendance is a must, she takes points off if you're late or if you miss too much class. Her grading is kind of a surprise attack, I felt like she made it seem like my grade would be higher than what it actually was. She is super helpful though and brings snacks to class.
