Lectures were worded to the way he told his jokes (which get pity laughs), extremely difficult to understand lectures. English isn't great. Class is basically a math class, but he tries to teach it in words which is not helpful. im a poly sci major and I have no idea what hes talking about
He has knowledge of the information, but doesn't know how to teach! The TAs r very helpful, if u can not do math do not take the class. He loves double negatives & it seems as if he purposely makes his lectures confusing to understand. midterm almost identical to study guide, final was a little off. U could never show up to lecture and get an A.
Kim has an accent and is not a very good lecturer; they are very boring and long so it's hard to understand him and pay attention. However, the material is easy, lecture slides are clear and he's a VERY sweet guy who does his best to help his students out. There are no tests, just three papers, and he offered to read our drafts for the final.
Could not understand the professor. Lectures are long and not engaging, making it very hard to concentrate. Make sure you have a LOT of time to go to the TA's office hours or the professor's, otherwise it is almost impossible to understand. Would not recommend this professor but unfortunately he is the only one currently teaching PS15.
He is new to teaching, and very nice and accessible yet lectures are indecipherable. Powerpoints are repetitive and he has a knack for phrasing easy concepts in the most confusing way possible. If you have a good TA section will help a lot. I felt bad because at the end of the course he acknowledged having been "not the best" teacher.

Extremely helpful when you ask questions. Very nice man eager to help his students. Pretty hard to understand, sit in the front of the class forsure. Midterms and finals were fair, just study the the study guide and you'll be good.
