I had Mrs. Paltin guest lecture in a previous Shakespeare class and found it nearly impossible to stay awake. I tried out one day of her lecture for this course and found her thesis about Shakespeare as a "change ringer" to be very contrived. She is incredibly boring I would not recommend taking when there are such wonderful faculty members here.

This professor does not lead discussion well...she is unprepared and leaves her syllabus/book in her office and seems unsure of herself. There are 2 midterms, a paper and a final. Passages selected for the first midterm for us to identify were extremely vague..she ended up having to curve it. I don't recommend taking her.
