Very unfair and mean professor. technically "smart" but very condescending and rude.
He is "smart" but really doesn't have to be so conceited, arrogant and condescending towards his students. He is a narcissist through and through.
This professor has unbelievable knowledge, his lectures are incredibly interesting. He doesn't have a straightforward teaching method with written slides, but his lectures are more discussions and analogies. He is a super fair grader and you will be successful if you participate and show up to class (it's really simple). Absolutely loved him
great prof
He does not deserve to be a person. Arrogant, opinionated, very bad
rude, arrogant, and irresponsible at the same time. He even warns me if I'm late or absent due to any reason (even conflict with exams or my health issue), HE WILL GIVE me a F. This is an intentional threat. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS
very mean and arrogant prof I have ever met in my life, he distains everyone and treats students with no respect. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.
I took his art history class at UBC, and he was the worst teacher I have ever met. It is one thing to be critical to aid students' intellectual development, but it is another thing to do so simply out of arrogance. His character is not fit to be an instructor. A disrespectful and conceited professor who does not care about his students.
Angel teacher
It's not even that the material is uninteresting or boring, but the way he teaches and how he just is as a person makes me evaluate my life choices. He has little to no empathy for personal situations, and thinks that his class should be a priority over every other life commitment you have. I say this out of genuine concern, but save yourself pain.
Look, I love art history. But this class was awful. The material could easily have been made interesting, if not for the prof's inflated sense of self-importance. He will treat you like a child. He will ramble about unimportant ideas. He will make a spectacle out of any and every student who is late to class. Do not take his class.
One of my favorite professors. His lectures were genuinely interesting and the course taught me so much (in a good way).
