Super chill professor. He gives really good feedback on essays, which there are only three. He grades fairly, and it's not hard to get an A if you just come to class and turn in your assignments. He really makes his students feel comfortable and is pretty forgiving/understanding of personal circumstances.

I loved professor Baron. He really cares about students and wants them to succeed. He is willing to spend time outside of classroom to give many useful feedbacks. Definately would take again.

Such a loving guy and a good lecturer. There are useful take-aways. He grades fairly, 50% on how much effort you spent and 50% on your actual work. He mentioned in the first class that if all works were done on an average level, then you are expected to get an A-. But it is not hard to get an A. His one-on-one meetings are really helpful!

I loved taking a class with Baron! He was caring, funny, & the classroom environment was really fun to be in. One of my all time favorite classes & the readings were interesting, so I could actually get through them! I'll be looking for other classes he's teaching & trying to get into them lol

Probably my favorite class I've taken so far! (I'm a 2nd year.) He's just such a lovely person and super accommodating. It's rare for me to find a class where so many of the readings are so good. His class had a really good balance of lecture and discussion. Take his classes! Take them!

It was a class with fun reading material. 2 essays: 1 about 750 words and a final paper about 1500 words. Prompts were easy to comprehend & he gives great feedback. A lot of reading material (as expected from a UD English class), MUST attend class (will call u out if u skip), & participation definitely matters (sometimes cold-calls you in class).

Lectures were very interesting and was one of my favorite classes so far loved the book selection for detective fiction!!

Baron is really fair and really does want you to succeed. You will enjoy him as a TA! He will go far in life!

IF you're looking for passion, enthusiasm, and insight on deeper ideas, then Baron is the perfect TA. His preparedness makes class worth coming to, and I never left without having thought at least one new idea. He's intellectual, he's insightful, he's good for those who care about learning and thinking more about an idea.

Baron is a great TA. He really cares about the content, he's motivated, and wants his students to progress and succeed. He could use some more practice in motivating group discussions though. He's very helpful in office hours and very nice to deal with. He's a fair grader too.
