Awesome professor, contract based grading so if you put in the work you can get an A. Workload is very manageable, just make sure to do the readings before class for the reading quizzes. One of the chillest professors I've ever had and a generally awesome dude.

He was the best writing professor! Had him for Writing 1 and Writing 2 and he makes his class very engaging and helpful for advancing your writing skills! He makes it very easy to do well and is very nice! Would 100% take a class with him again

He is really nice. It was his first time teaching Writing 2E. You get full points for HWs if your or work is sufficient.

He made this class seem easy since he was clear with the requirements for the whole class and for each assignments! Great prof and definitely recommend him for WRIT 1!

Baron's first time teaching 105S, he did a great job. 3 papers and a final group portfolio project. Cool engagement with sustainability on campus and talk to people in envi fields, including a field trip/tour of the history museum. Grading was super fair. Concepts were a little basic as an ES major, but the papers were fun/engaging to write.

Really caring, took his class before and moved into an 8 am to have him as prof. Supportive and insightful prof!

Super chill professor. He gives really good feedback on essays, which there are only three. He grades fairly, and it's not hard to get an A if you just come to class and turn in your assignments. He really makes his students feel comfortable and is pretty forgiving/understanding of personal circumstances.

I loved professor Baron. He really cares about students and wants them to succeed. He is willing to spend time outside of classroom to give many useful feedbacks. Definately would take again.

Such a loving guy and a good lecturer. There are useful take-aways. He grades fairly, 50% on how much effort you spent and 50% on your actual work. He mentioned in the first class that if all works were done on an average level, then you are expected to get an A-. But it is not hard to get an A. His one-on-one meetings are really helpful!

I loved taking a class with Baron! He was caring, funny, & the classroom environment was really fun to be in. One of my all time favorite classes & the readings were interesting, so I could actually get through them! I'll be looking for other classes he's teaching & trying to get into them lol

Probably my favorite class I've taken so far! (I'm a 2nd year.) He's just such a lovely person and super accommodating. It's rare for me to find a class where so many of the readings are so good. His class had a really good balance of lecture and discussion. Take his classes! Take them!
