One midterm, research paper (10 pages), 5 pop quizzes on reading, final. Curtin is very knowledgeable and gives a lot of information during lectures. He only posts key slides online so you have to go to lecture. Midterm wasn't too hard and he gave a study guide. Not a super hard class but you have to put in a good amount of work.

Curtin is a brilliant lecturer and super knowledgable about what he his teaching. He's also funny and nice! Only issue is lectures are soooo long so they can get boring and tests are pretty tough. One midterm, one paper, and a final and you get a detailed study guide. Not horrible just go to lecture and do the readings!

This is the most practical class I have taken in the Film department. YES reading is required and you must do a response on it at the beginning of every class but it is not that much. You learn so much about the creative industry and I would suggest this class to everyone who wants to join the industry! Awesome class and teacher.
