She is a great teacher, but if you are in a upper division Spanish class, be prepared. You are expected to really know Spanish. Lots of papers and reading hut that is what Span25 is. Like all language classes you get what you put into it. She gave clear guidelines. She cares about her students and the language.
A nice teacher who genuinely cares about her students. The online hw and reading logs take a lot of time to complete and are a small fraction of grade. Papers are graded fairly hard, go to CLAS if you want to have a error-free paper/ do well on paper. Not the best teacher so you really have work at learning the language yourself with textbook.
She's just terrible and bad at explaining. I do not recommend at all.
There's three papers, an entire novel to be read, online exercises that need to be completed 4 days of the week... the whole structure of this class was awful. It's not entirely her fault that she was ill-equipped to deal with students, but instructions for important assignments were NEVER clear and she hardly ever knew the answer to any question.
