He currently teaches Latin at a high school in Nashville, and he's still a legend. The man plays 90s hip-hop before class and occasionally brings his hypebeast nephew to class. Fantastic teacher, would totally recommend.
Great teacher
Syllabus tells you exactly what you're doing and when you're tested. Weekly quizzes of the reading which were not hard to pass. Just read and discuss during sections and you will do well.
Loved the class I would definitely recommend taking it but I think he may be taking some time off HE IS SUPER ATTRACTIVE AND SMART.
Even though the reading was slightly boring, the lectures were super helpful. There is a super easy multiple choice quiz once a week in section but as long as you attend lectures you'll be fine. I loved this class and the professor. I highly recommend.
Loooved this class. This guy is great; really nice, really helpful and really cool. Really enjoys the subject. He is also EXTREMELY attractive.
Very good at explaining the material. Funny, makes class interesting. There is reading, but if you read it when it's assigned, it's not too much.HIghly highly HIGHLY recommend this class. (He's super good looking too)
Perfect GE, easy and interesting. One of the best classes I've ever taken!
Reading quizzes every week, some are hard, but most are pretty easy. First half is about myths, second half focuses on history and allegory. Lecture is really interesting, worth going just to listen to him lecture, also some test questions are based of lecture. Read!
He's not only gorgeous, he's awesome at keeping students entertained with the material. I love Greek Myths and this class made me love them more. Take it! GPA booster.
Ric is probably the sexiest professor i have ever had here at UCSB. He does his best to modernize the stories to make the class fun and enjoyable. Keep up on the readings and or attend lecture and you should get a good grade. Took this class with the TA Noah and he was also great!
Ric is the best professor you will have. Honestly appreciate it if you have him. I barely actually concentrated on lecture or read and still got an A.
