Professor Becker was an excellent seminar teacher. I was really excited about the topic, Victorian Literature and Art, and learned quite a lot. She chooses great text from Dickens to Arthur Conan Doyle, while educating on the context through critics like Walter Benjamin. She is completely engaged and consistent in her teaching style!

Charlotte assigns great readings and comes prepared to class every day. Her enthusiasm and clarity are what keeps the flow going. She loves what she teaches and it oozes out of her greatly. One of my favorite courses so far.
