FREUND E G
Awesome professor, even though he admittedly does have hard to follow lectures. He gives lots of practice problems that are extremely similar to the midterms/final, so as long as you're well-versed in those, you'll do just fine in the class. He also has really fun demos at the end of lectures!
Freund is a great professor! I regret not going to office hours more often since he's not teaching 6B next quarter. Each exam question appears in some form in the practice quiz or practice exams, with different numbers, directions, etc. After the first midterm it was very straightforward to study, the final had no real surprises.
Get ready to teach everything to yourself. He's a nice guy but can't lecture to save his life. The midterms and finals r very similar to the practice tests.
Optional lectures, but they are pretty entertaining. The midterms and the final is identical to the practice one, so do all of them and understand how to do each problem and it'll be an easy A.
Just memorize ALL quizzes and past exams. He isn't the best lecturer and just kind of talks gibberish and his notes are gibberish. Make your own formulas for questions and memorize everything. It's hard but do-able
Super easy tests any question on a midterm or final is going to be on any of his practice questions
GOAT. Online class is even easier
He's rly good at explaining the material conceptually and showing us how to apply the equations to different situations n stuff. He kinda gets sidetracked at times but not in ways that detract from the lecture. He'll just start a sentence and cut himself off to talk abt smth else but always circles back to the main point eventually.

never wrote an RMP before but I have so much respect for him for sticking up for his students. the most amazing, fun, and encouraging lecturer. go to office hours, ask about conceptuals (not just memorize questions), do practice exams, and you'll crush it. he's so goated, if I ever get Alzheimer's he'd probably be the last person I forget
I love Freund. I've had him the whole 6 series and he's just a good person. He cares about students, and is always upbeat about everything. He's also always facing pressure from the physics department to make his exams harder, so he tries to add Geller questions to exams. However, if you do well enough on his questions, you can still do well.
Freund is the man! He balances the mental health of students while also teaching physics intuitively without the extra fuss. He understands we're life science majors, not physicists! I got an A- after the Geller final, but he changed it to an A on gold, likely due to a curve which he usually doesn't do in the A range. He is a great guy!
