Aside from being the best language professor I've ever had (and I speak 4 languages), Rodi is one of the most intelligent and fascinating people I have ever met in my life. He is a true intellectual who is always willing to learn from his students and he teaches with the utmost clarity and enthusiasm for the German language. Great class, great guy.

Rodi is one of the best language teachers I have ever had after going through five. He combines the language and cultural aspects really well and his knowledge of the language including word roots make it interesting. Go to class five or so minutes early and talk to him for entertaining stimulating language related talk.

Rodi is one of the most genuinely awesome professors I've ever encountered, no exaggeration. He pays specific attention to each individual student and makes his students feel like their education means something to him. His lessons are organized and helpful and absolutely enjoyable every day. I wish I could take his class again and again!

Rodi is a great guy. He cares about his students and will go to the ends of the world to ensure that you enjoy and understand German. Hes a walking German stereotype constantly talking about beer and his homeland, and will make it easy for you to get an A. I would totally take his class again if I had an opportunity.
