The easiest summer class ever. 3 required online meetings, a few discussion posts every week, some light reading, watched a ton of movies. The material is easy to read and understand. No midterm, final project was a powerpoint presentation. Show an interest and connect with the material and you will get an A.

Great teacher. Funny and really enthusiastic about the subject and is easy to go to for help. Open-note midterm, take home final essay, 1 short and 1 longer paper. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Watched several interesting films. Fairly easy class and not too much work. Readings are importantrequired, but interesting. Def recommend her!

Talks super low and hard to understand at times. Class is fairly easy though. Never went to lecture after midterm and still got a B. Section is helpful.v

she is difficult to hear during lecture, very low voice. i found her lectures to be vague. you will REALLY depend on your TA for this class. the readings are heavy, but the content is somewhat interesting. i got an A- and barely understood the lectures. thanks to a good TA its possible to do well. writing based midterm and final.

loves participation. reading the material is a must or else she'll pick on you, but it definitely made me stay on top of my material. she strives to help you understand what the author is arguing and makes you think outside of the box. Assignments are straightforward and simple. dont take class if you just need to pass, take it if you love femst.

Horrible class. Completely useless and tons of reading that wasn't in line with the class at all.Lectures were pointless, she rarely lectured and when she did you couldn't hear her. Only go to class if you want to spend an hour watching random youtube videos

Nice Professor, her voice IS very low. She isn't very helpful when it comes to answering questions so you really have to rely on the T.A. Readings are interesting, but there is a lot of it. Not too much work, lectures were [most of the time] interesting. she does play some snoozefest films though. Okay class; really dreading the 1800 wrd paper.

Ridiculous amounts of reading (100pgs+/wk). Prof.Francikova has a very low voice. Her lectures are quite boring. T.A Sarah makes up for it. She's awesome. Material is interesting...but the way she teaches it sucks. not too much work: attend event, 2 pg paper and a 7 pg mid quarter.
