PSTAT 120A: Talks too fast with a thick accent and doesn't make the already difficult material any easier. He expects you to understand the material quickly, as if it is natural. Asking questions don't really help either; his answers are too obtuse for an intro class.
really bad teacher, avoid him, he can't teach even if his life depended on it. His accent is very indian and annoying
This class, professor, and amalgamation of TA's blows. They seem to have no interest in the good of the student, and when you ask them questions, they are unhelpful. They are also all either from India or somewhere in Asia where the work ethic is simply different. Their accents are very difficult to understand. Heaven help the non-majors.
The final is a nightmare. Stare at the problems until you realize what you're supposed to do, and make sure you put everything on your cheat sheet. good luck.
Very boring and reads straight from the text book. He can be difficult to understand in lecture. His partial credit system on tests is pretty ruthless. Expect most of your questions to be graded "all or nothing." Class starts easy but don't let this fool you. It is quite challenging. Non-majors seem to struggle a lot.
