He was an amazing professor, very helpful on projects and gave great feedback. I enjoyed his lectures (more like discussions) and his class so much that I signed up for him in two more classes the next quarter. Would take again a thousand times.

His classes were always fun, he has a great interest in screenwriting and cinema. If you want your script critiqued he will hold no punches, but if you wish you can fly under the radar. I would recommend taking his course if you take an interest in screenwriting, though be forewarned; he has a tendency to ramble and constantly interrupt students.

Paul is a super fun and funny guy! You get into his class what you put it, so if you write a lot and ask for help, he'll give you great advice, but if you don't show up and don't do anything, you won't. He's full of practical/worldly advice and hilarious stories. Learned a lot and had fun! Alerted me to new movies to check out too.

Paul is very down to earth and truthful. The problem with his class is that it's not structured AT ALL, so dumb kids will ramble through the entire class not knowing what the hell they are talking about. On the plus side, Paul really gives you the freedom to write and do what you want. Overall if your interested in screenwriting take him.

Absolutely wonderful professor! Great sense of humor, class was a breeze and not demanding at all! highly recommended for an easy A and quite interesting to learn about documentaries!
