By far the worst professor I've had at UCSB. his grading is very unclear and subjective to his opinions. His lectures are dry and most of the class seemed uninterested. The material was fantastic but he made it boring and tedious. Will never recommend him to fellow students!

If you're interested in the class then easy A. Homework due online twice a week, quiz at the end of a chapter, and three compositions. If you put in the effort and review every night then you have nothing to worry about. I felt he talked to us as if we were children though, really repetitive and boring.
