Professor Erickson's lectures are really intriguing and informative; easy to earn good grade as long as you attend most of the courses and take notes

This was Dr. Erickson's first time teaching at Portland State, but she obviously has some experience. Class was engaging and entertaining with weekly quizzes, one midterm and one final. The quizzes were a good indicator of your progress while the tests were a majority of your grade. I learned a lot just from lecture.

She shows many examples which makes it easy to understand. It is definitely worth going to office hours because she is very easy to talk to and helpful.I would definitely take another class taught by her.

Prof. Erickson is a great instructor! She goes over material really fast, so you have to do your hw in order to succeed. Also, a really good idea to go to office hours, she will go over problems with you. Final and overall class grade curved around the median, not average, so that helps!! Also like her funny jokes to break up lecture!
