Obviously, this is a class no one wants to take, and she entirely gets that. She was a pretty good teacher for this class, I would recommend her for writing 2.

She seems like she cares about writing but the class itself is miserable. In all fairness she is a decent instructor but makes it incredibly hard to get an A. She will find anything wrong with your paper--and I mean anything. From spacing twice before a new sentence to forgetting a period.

Since we are rating the professor and NOT the class I give her 5 stars. Yes writing 2 is a requirement so it is not going to be very interesting for most,but Julia was great and she was obviously passionate and knowledgeable about what she was doing. She stands out among other instructors because she actually cares about her students.

One Word: Lame. She's nice enough, decent teacher i guess, but boring as all hell. If you're reading this I'm sure you know writing 2 is a horrible mandatory class, which obviously means no one wants to be there, let alone have a teacher who thinks people might have some vague interest in all the crap. She takes the class seriously--mistake.
