By far the raddest professor at Palomar College. The class is very interactive and Dr. Kearney has such a passion for teaching my writting improved in all my classes. It would be in any students best interest to take his class. It will give you something to look forward to coming to campus for.

Not only was his class really interactive but he makes it fun to attend and his passion for teaching made me a much better and more successful writer in all my classes. Dr. Kevin Kearney is an amazing teacher and by far the best professor I have ever had the pleasure of having. His constant witty jokes and engagement of the class kept him interesting the whole way through. He treats his students like colleagues instead of kids. I HIGHLY recommend taking any of Kevin's classes. You will not regret it a bit.

Professor Kearney is an engaging, down to earth, and hilarious teacher. He is incredibly smart, and doesn't dumb the subject down for those who are not going into English degrees. Everyone looks forward to going to his class, and he always has interesting discussions. Take his classes if you can, you would be lucky to have him!

Best english teacher i have ever had. He is somehow able to make english class an enjoyable one and will make you laugh. My writing improved a ton as well.

best professor ive ever had. super engaging. 8am class and almost everyone showed up AND PARTICIPATED everyday. he is super fun!

Kearney is awesome! I took him for summer school thinking it was going to be horrible being there 4 times a week, but he made class so enjoyable. He's so witty and his jokes are great. He's definitely reasonable with his assignments and he's a fair grader.

Great instructor. We were only required to use a reader and 1 novel. Definitely knows his stuff and you learn alot in his class. He kept each class interesting as well. I would definitely suggest taking him for Writing :)
