A hard grader but a real character in class.

Brian Loftus is a terrible teacher. Completely subjective and brings his life and excuses into the work environment. He didn't even show up to 60 percent of the classes.

He's crazy, but I liked him :) took it easy on us when I took him during summer session. Dont learn much, but he's a good professor to take if you need to do writ 1.

He is hilarious but a little weird. He is a bit of a hard grader but if you go to his office hours while he is grading your paper he tends to be less of tough grader. Take this class with Loftus its pretty boring but no much is done during the two hours

He is a really cool professor. I really enjoyed taking his class over the summer. He says really funny things like "I know" and just makes class interesting. Hard grader when it comes to essays, but if you go to his office hours he helps you out a lot. He knows what he is doing..great professor. I recommend you stay in his class.

Coolest teacher ever, so chill over the summer. He says stuff like " I KNOW" and shtoopid. So cool. Very helpful if you go to office hours, actually teaches you how to improve your paper.

I did not like his teaching style. We would talk for an hour about his life stories and only a few minutes on the actual assignments. plus we had 2 assignments the first half and 3 papers due in a row in the second.

I like him. He's a character, but we were a small 109 class, so we really enjoyed "talking about life" while talking about class material. His life isn't meaningless... it's actually quite funny and interesting. He was absent a lot for health reasons, but I would def. love another class with him!

I took this class over the summer and I can honestly say that he canceled class 75% of the time. This guy is scatterbrained... he goes against MLA format (and then grades you down for doing it properly), makes you call him at home for conferences, and taught me nothing useful whatsoever. Plus he is a totally arbitrary grader.

Loftus is a werid teacher. Hard to get an A... most people in my class got a c- and had to repeat the class. He tries to scare you when your doing the surveys by telling u that he'll track you down because he has writing samples of all your work, but you never really write anything in that class, because its all typed. p.s. you suck as a teacher!!

All he does is rattle on and on about his meaningless life. You can tell by his grading that he is bitter at the world and about his tortured past. Kiss his ass very very hard, and you just might get the grade you want... but probably not.
