The professor is great and patient, answering all the questions I have. But the course is indeed hard for me which requires lots of readings and writing.

Don't take this class! He does hardly any teaching, the whole class is mostly taught by student presentations. Also he is an extremely hard grader, very vague in his expectations and it took about 3-4 months to get grades out.

It's half way through fall quarter and I still have not received grade. class was all student presentations and he gave absolutely no feedback on how the papers should be written. harsh grader, but I still don't know my final grade so I can't really say how everything turned out. Do no take if you are a graduating senior.

Don't waste your time in his class you won't learn anything and it will take him months to get you your grade!

He acts as if he is helpful and that everything you are doing is fine. In reality he expects a lot more than he lets students believe, he rarely teaches anything and he grades very unfairly. There is not feedback until the final grade, which will disaapoint you. Don't let his nice domineer fool you, he is a wolf in sheeps clothing!

Great professor, very clear and helpful. Overall great class on contemporary issues in the US. However, I took his class in the Summer and now it is finals week for Fall and I still haven't received my grade along with numerous other students. That is the only negative thing about this prof. he takes a looooong time to post grades.

Lectures are very good, it is clear that he cares about the subject matter. Very helpful in office hours. All things considered a good/fair course.
