Professor Fastman was an awesome teacher. He makes lots of jokes and keeps class interesting. Best teacher I've had so far.

Fastman is awesome. He's really funny and keeps the class entertained. I really have no interest in literature but he kept me interested. He approaches the material differently than I expected and it turned out for the better. By looking at him you wouldn't expect jokes about Wu Tang Clan but it happens. Overall, love Fastman!

GREAT writing professor. I had horrible english/writ professors all my life until i had him. i hate writing and he made it interesting. i never dreaded going to class. try to take a class with him. i took the class over the summer(6 week quarter) so we had to write 3 papers (about 3-4 pg). there was no final or midterms. very little reading.

Great professor. He's really funny and knows how to make the class interesting (our theme was humor, which was great). If you get him, just know you've lucked out, I've heard horror stories about Writing 2 professors and he's definitely not one of them. Go to office hours, it's really helpful.

Very cool professor. Has a dry sense of humor. He really improves your writing and classes are as enjoyable as writing can be. We even had a pizza party in class. Great guy, if you put the work and attendance in class then you should get a good grade
