Always able to capture the entire classes attention.

Professor Freudenberg was a phenomenal man. At his memorial, a colleague mentioned how he always wanted chili peppers on this website. His brilliant mind and true compassion will be greatly missed.

One of the best professors I've ever had. I took ENV S 1 during Dr. Freudenberg's last quarter in fall 2010 and his passion for teaching and the environment showed until his final days. He will be greatly missed.

Greatest teacher I've ever had. Phenomenal lecturer, we gave him standing novations at end of every lecture. Nicest TAs ever also.

What a great teacher! He really takes time to make lectures interesting, and ties together many relevant stories to prove his point. Midterm 1 was easy, 2 a bit more difficult, and the Final had many repeated questions. Great class.
