PHIL100B . 6 Years Ago

We had 3 papers and all of them but 1 was enjoyable to write and about an interesting topic. Even though I normally don't like writing. Sections were fun No quizzes The only other thing we were graded on was a final which we were given the questions to beforehand. My only complaint is lecture sometimes divulges into amateur hour with dumb questions

An absolutely dreadful professor. Really awkward, drones on and on, goes on tangents. Doesn't give a study guide.

Nice guy, but he's a hard grader. Expects a lot, so explain every little thing on papers. To get an "A," you have to go to his office hours and ask specifically what he wants - he'll look over your paper, though. I wouldn't recommend for avg. Phil majors. He's a little unclear and comes off uncomfortable/awkward most of the time. Takes roll :/

I did not think he was a tough TA at all! I barely studied and still got a good grade in the class. He does come off as a bit shy, but I think he is definitely crystal clear in all of his explanations and very engaging with students, even though he seems a bit introverted personality-wise. Also, I thought he was major eye candy!;)I recommend him.

Quite helpful, good TA. I'd take him again. He has a very endearing way about him.

Unfortunately I have nothing to say but bad things about this TA. He is completely useless and actually confuses the material to a greater extent rather than providing clarity. He is a tough grader, extremely arrogant, and doesn't really seem to care about his classl. I hope that he never becomes a Professor. Do not take him as a TA at all costs.

Extremely hard grader, yet at the same time cannot present the material to save his life. Very nervous and shy. He straight up refused to answer certain questions about the material and the tests. He obviously has no confidence in his ability as a TA, neither should you.
